It's lighter and less heavy than American custards. Mixers use it as a custard base for creams, tarts and bakery recipes.

Most recipes use 1-3%, averaging about 2.25%. It's often paired with FA Vienna Cream, FA Cream Fresh (Panna Fresca), FA Meringue and FA Cookie (Biscotto), FA Lemon Sicily (Limone Sicilia) for a lemon tart, or CAP Vanilla Custard for extra depth.
